The Chair of International Management deals with current issues in the management of internationally operating companies in research and teaching. The focus is on innovation and responsibility in global markets. In teaching, theoretical knowledge is consistently applied to management challenges, often in cooperation with practice partners.

Research semester of Professor Söllner

In the winter semester 2024/25, Professor Söllner is in his research semester. Unfortunately, the supervision of final theses (MA and BA) is therefore very limited. We strongly recommend that you indicate one of the Faculty's other chairs as your supervision preference if you would like to write your final thesis in winter 24/25. Entrepreneurship Research Lab (ERLab) launched

The new eight-year research programme will begin on 1 January 2023. The research team - Martin Eisend, Yanis Hamdali, Jochen Koch, Lorenzo Skade and Albrecht Söllner - with scientific coordinator Anja Rillcke will be strengthened by three new doctoral students. We are looking forward to working with Eza Zaheer, Carlos Alberto Prieto Valero and Paul Vetter.

Best Ph.D. Paper Award for Yanis Hamdali and Lorenzo Skade

Yanis Hamdali and Lorenzo Skade have been honoured with the "Best Ph.D. Paper Award" from the international Strategy Practice Interest Group. With this award, the association of renowned researchers in the field of strategic management honoured the work of the two doctoral students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics on the timing of innovations. The award ceremony took place as part of the 42nd annual conference of the Strategic Management Society in London in mid-September 2022.
