I CEE Tax

I CEE Tax

The I CEE Tax (Institute for Central and East European Taxation) has set itself the goal of bundling the competences of the European University Viadrina and its cooperation partners with regard to international business taxation and making them more visible for science, politics and business practice.

Research

The I CEE Tax is focussed on the consolidation of tax research activities at the EUV, in particular with regard to Central and Eastern Europe, in the following research areas:

- International tax law and international tax doctrine: Current developments in the field of tax law in Central and Eastern Europe (e.g. in Poland, the Czech Republic and Armenia)

- Tax effects: Influence of taxes on individual economic actors, in particular companies and macroeconomic implications (e.g. tax competition) including interdisciplinary issues

Doctoral seminar

The basis of doctoral training at I CEE Tax is a joint doctoral programme of the Institute with EBS Wiesbaden and in cooperation with SGH Warsaw under the direction of Prof. Dr Stephan Kudert and Prof. Dr Adrian Cloer. The seminar takes place every semester at different European locations.

More information can be found on the homepage of Prof Dr Stephan Kudert.
